Baked Cinnamon Sugar Yogurt Donuts

The softest donuts you will ever have. These are absolutely delicious and perfect for any time of day.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup plain whole milk yogurt
- 1/4 cup milk of choice
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter, can also use melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or powder
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour, gluten-free or regular
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- melted butter for brushing after baking
Cinnamon Sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar, can also use any granulated sugar here that you like
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 and set a donut pan aside coated in some oil spray.
- To a bowl, add the egg, milk, yogurt, vanilla, coconut sugar, and oil. Whisk well.
- Then, add in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to form the donut batter.
- Transfer batter into the donut pan filling it to the rim.
- Bake donuts for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed up.
- Once done baking, cool for a few minutes. Then brush on some melted butter on both sides and toss each donut into the cinnamon sugar mixture.
