This recipe is perfect for picky eaters and super simple to make. Add your kids favorite toppings and have a delicious breakfast

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (add more if you’d like more sweetness)
  • 1 1/4 cup organic gf oat flour
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chocolate chips for toppings and I did some raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and spray a donut pan well with some cooking spray and set aside. If you have a silicone donut pan that will be much easier for removal once baked.
  2. To a bowl, add eggs, vanilla, milk, and maple syrup. Whisk well.
  3. Then, add in the oat flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to incorporate.
  4. Transfer batter to the donut pan making 6 equal donuts. Top with chocolate chips and add fruit if you’d like. Can also be strawberries, blueberries, even banana slices.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until they have risen and are firm to the touch.
  6. Cool for a couple of minutes and then carefully remove them for the pan. My kids also wanted some hazelnut spread on top with sprinkles so I added some but you can also enjoy these with some maple syrup just as regular pancakes. perfect for picky eaters :)
