This easy gluten-free money bread is made with store bought pizza dough. It is so easy, perfectly sweet, doughy, and a delicious dessert or snack when craving something sweet.
Ingredients
- 1 Package Trader Joe's Gluten-Free Pizza Dough, 1 lb
- Avocado Oil Spray
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
Maple Glaze
- 4 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
- 1-2 Tsp Pure Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Start by preheating oven to 400F (200C)
- Then, remove the pizza dough from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature about ten minutes.
- Start ripping the dough into small chunks and roll each piece into a circle. Try to make them even in size. Spray them all with some avocado oil and set aside.
- To a bowl, add coconut sugar along with cinnamon and whisk that to combine.
- Toss all the dough balls into the sugar mixture to coat them evenly.
- Spray a small oval dish with avocado oil and place all the sugar coated pizza dough balls into the dish in an even layer.
- Spray the tops with a bit more avocado oil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Once baked, cool them for 10 minutes. In the meantime make the maple glaze by mixing together powdered sugar and pure maple syrup until a creamy glaze forms. If too thick, add more maple syrup. If too runny keep adding more powdered sugar. Enjoy!
