This combination of cinnamon, apples and a cinnamon sugar drizzle creates a cozy fall treat with the perfect balance of sweetness!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 small apple, peeled and diced
  • 4 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • splash of water

Instructions

  1. Start by adding ricotta, greek yogurt, honey, and cinnamon to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Grab a smaller dish and pour the mixture in the dish.
  3. Add peeled and diced apples and give it a gently mix.
  4. Place the mixture into the freeze and freeze 2-3 hour. Mix every 30 minutes to get a creamy texture.
  5. In the meantime make the cinnamon sugar drizzle by combining coconut sugar and cinnamon with a splash of water until a creamy glaze forms. Start with a VERY little amount of water.
  6. One frozen, remove from the freezer. Serve it in your favorite glass, add a drizzle of the cinnamon sugar slurry and enjoy!
