Cinnamon Apple Ricotta Ice Cream

This combination of cinnamon, apples and a cinnamon sugar drizzle creates a cozy fall treat with the perfect balance of sweetness!
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey or pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 small apple, peeled and diced
- 4 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- splash of water
Instructions
- Start by adding ricotta, greek yogurt, honey, and cinnamon to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Grab a smaller dish and pour the mixture in the dish.
- Add peeled and diced apples and give it a gently mix.
- Place the mixture into the freeze and freeze 2-3 hour. Mix every 30 minutes to get a creamy texture.
- In the meantime make the cinnamon sugar drizzle by combining coconut sugar and cinnamon with a splash of water until a creamy glaze forms. Start with a VERY little amount of water.
- One frozen, remove from the freezer. Serve it in your favorite glass, add a drizzle of the cinnamon sugar slurry and enjoy!
