A moist, delicious, sweet, and simple bread that is perfect for any time of day. Filled with juicy grated apples, this is sure a must try this fall.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 small or 1 large apple(s), peeled and grated
  • 1/2 cup honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 butter or coconut oil, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, regular or gluten-free
  • 1 tsp cinammon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the banans and mix in the grated apple.
  3. Stir in the melted butter (or coconut oil), honey or maple syrup, and beaten eggs.
  4. Then, whisk in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir just until incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Enjoy!
