Grated Apple Banana Bread

A moist, delicious, sweet, and simple bread that is perfect for any time of day. Filled with juicy grated apples, this is sure a must try this fall.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 small or 1 large apple(s), peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup honey or pure maple syrup
- 1/4 butter or coconut oil, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, regular or gluten-free
- 1 tsp cinammon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the banans and mix in the grated apple.
- Stir in the melted butter (or coconut oil), honey or maple syrup, and beaten eggs.
- Then, whisk in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir just until incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
