Two Ingredient Air Fryer Donut Holes
When I mention two ingredients, I am referring to the donut its self. While these donut holes are smothered in cinnamon sugar but the focus of this recipe is the simplicity on the donut batter, which is just two key ingredients. Feel free to experiment with different toppings such as powdered sugar, glaze, jam, etc. For me, cinnamon sugar is just a simple go to topping for these donut holes. They are so fluffy, soft, and pleasantly doughy on the inside. I opted for gluten-free by using a gf all-purpose flour, but you can certainly use regular flour for an even airier result, as gluten tends to impart extra lightness to baked goods.
*Air Fryer that I love
Helpful Notes:
Make sure to preheat the air fryer for atleast five minutes at 350F.
Spray each donut donut with some avocado oil spray to help them brown while cooking.
The longer the donuts stay out, the more dense and bagel-like they get. So the next day these are even better with some cream cheese on them.

Two Ingredient Air Fryer Donut Holes
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising gluten free all-purpose flour
- 1 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
- Note: To make self rising flour if you do not have any on hand, just sift together flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- To a large bowl, add one cup of self rising flour along with a cup of nonfat plain greek yogurt.
- Mix the batter until crumbly, then wet your hand a little and start to work the dough until flour and yogurt are all combined and you can make a smooth ball shape. It is important to know that the dough will be very sticky at first. Water on hands helps and make sure to flour the surface as you go.
- Form a ball shape and then take some dough and roll out small donut holes making about 10-12.
- Preheat air fryer to 350F for at least 5 minutes.
- Place donut holes into the preheated air fryer. Do not overcrowd the pan. Leave room between each donut hole because they do get larger.
- Spray some avocado oil on top of each donut hole and air fryer at 350F for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once cooked, I like to toss them in a cinnamon sugar mixture and enjoy warm!
- Fun tip: The longer they sit out the more dense they become and resemble a bagel like texture. I love to pair these with some cream cheese the next day. Enjoy!
