Cheesy Ricotta Bagel

A savory blend of cheese and creamy custard atop a buttered bagel. Perfect for a satisfying breakfast or a tasty snack!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
- pinch of salt
- 2 bagels of choice, halved
- Softened butter, about 2 tbsp
Instructions
- Start by adding ricotta, eggs, freshly grated cheddar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
- Mix until well combine.
- Slice two bagels in half and adding butter on each half of the bagel.
- Add a generous layer of the cheesy ricotta mixture on top of each bagel.
- Add the bagels in a toaster oven or regular oven under the broiler on low.
- Broil for about 6 minutes until the cheesy custard is set.
- You can also air fryer these at 350F for about 5 minutes or until the custard is set. Cooking time varies with different air fryers.
