A savory blend of cheese and creamy custard atop a buttered bagel. Perfect for a satisfying breakfast or a tasty snack!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 bagels of choice, halved
  • Softened butter, about 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Start by adding ricotta, eggs, freshly grated cheddar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix until well combine.
  3. Slice two bagels in half and adding butter on each half of the bagel.
  4. Add a generous layer of the cheesy ricotta mixture on top of each bagel.
  5. Add the bagels in a toaster oven or regular oven under the broiler on low.
  6. Broil for about 6 minutes until the cheesy custard is set.
  7. You can also air fryer these at 350F for about 5 minutes or until the custard is set. Cooking time varies with different air fryers.
