These are healthy little treats when you want to satisfy your sweet craving. They are gluten-free and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil for dairy-free
  • 1 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • pinch of salt
Strawberry Glaze
  • About 6-8 tbsp of powdered sugar with a tbsp of plant milk and a tsp of raspberry jam. Mix well. Add more powdered sugar if too runny or a little bit more plant milk if too thick.

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix wet ingredients (egg, vanilla, melted butter, maple syrup). Then stir in dry (almond flour, coconut sugar, salt). Mix until dough has formed.
  3. 3. Using a cookie scoop or by hands, form donut holes and place on cookie sheet.
  4. 4. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
  5. 5. When done, remove for oven and let them cool for 5-10min before pouring the glaze over them.
  6. 6. Once glazed, place in fridge for 10min for the glaze to firm up.
  7. 7. Enjoy cold or at room temp! 😍
